Thankfully for the increasing number of Argentine vegetarians, the soy milanesa was invented, which are made with soybeans.
This is the alternative to the traditional milanesa that consists of a thin slice of beef dipped into beaten eggs, seasoned with salt, and other condiments according to the cook's taste (like parsley and garlic). In this version the thin slice of beef is replaced by soybean steak. Each slice is then dipped in bread crumbs (or occasionally flour).
Ingredients: Soybeans (soy), egg, flour (wheat), breadcrumbs (wheat), parsley, garlic, salt and black pepper.
Allergens: egg, soy, and wheat
